15 year old Logan traversed 13.1 miles of the streets of Jackson MS over the weekend as part of the Mississippi Blues Marathon/Half-Marathon.
The course wound through scenery that included distinctive architecture…
The event was marked by abundant Southern hospitality, along with revelry related to the event’s moniker…
We stood at the finishing chutes and watched person after person completing the equivalent of their Tebow-esque 316 (3:16) yard, first-play-of-overtime touchdown pass (another highlight of the weekend!). The tone and atmosphere at these road races is nothing other than triumphant. To watch people succeed at achieving their goal of finishing strong - or finishing at all - is truly inspiring.
