Lasting Friendships
Thursday, August 13, 2009
It’s been a little over six years since a certain Franklin Springs family pulled into the parking lot of Puckett’s Grocery in Leipers Fork, Tennessee and made an acquaintance that would change their lives.

Meeting the Tommy Waller family that night gave birth to a friendship that would both challenge and encourage, and a year later, work began on documenting an inspiring story that needed to be shared.
While the Wallers now go back and forth to Israel to serve local farmers in the West Bank (they’ll be taking a group of 100 short term workers in September), the chance to visit with them while they’re stateside is always a robust celebration of faith, family, and friendship.
Several children have been added to the mix since A Journey Home first took root…

One family outside Nashville will be forever grateful for the chance to befriend the Wallers, and for the privilege to share their story through a film that continues to touch lives around the world.
